We have just completed setting everything up so that when you create a link with the Little Link Generator, you will now be able to not only use the tllg.net but also vll.me. (which stands for Very Little Links!)
In case you are a bit confused, lets take a minute to elaborate on what exactly this means and how it will work. For the most part everything will go the same when you want to create a new little link. You will go to tllg.net, input your link to shrink, and BAM… your new little link is born. But this this is where the difference comes in. Your link will now show up using the domain vll.me instead of tllg.net which you are used to.
Here are 2 pictures showing you the old and new look for the little links:

As you can see in the 2 screenshots above, links (both new and old) will work using either domain. So if you want something smaller, vll.me will be for you. I am currently working some more options for the links and some better integration for both domains, so stay tuned. In case any of you reading this like to use the Google Chrome extension I made, it will now also reflect the changes and use vll.me as the default.

Ok, in an attempt to make The Little Link Generator more accessible to those who use it and like it, I have gone and created an extension for it in the Google Chrome browser! After working on it for a couple of days I feel that it is at a point where it is simple, effective and gets the job done.
To use this extension you will need 2 things. First of all you need t be using the browser Google Chrome. Once that is installed you will need to head over to the extension page so you can actually install it into the browser. After you see the little logo pop up to the right of your address bar, that means that it is installed and ready to go!

Using it is very simple. All you need to do is to click the icon when you are on a page that you would like to make a little link of. Once you click the link and it displays your link, it will be automatically copied to your clipboard for easy pasting into twitter/facebook or whatever you want to use it for. But, as of the latest version to the extension, I have added little logos for twitter, facebook, gmail, myspace, digg, and delicious to it, and with one click of the icon with your preferred service, the extension will now copy it directly to that website for publishing!
Although this was my first attempt at coding something like this.. I am very pleased with the results and will try to improve it when and if I think of any features that could be added to make it better. Got a suggestion or comment about the extension? Please leave a message in the comments of this post or contact me directly through the contact page: http://tllg.net/contact
